Your data

Delete your Arabica account

You can delete your Arabica account and personal data at any time. This page explains how, what is deleted, what is kept and for how long.

In the app (fastest)

  1. Open Arabica and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Tap the Settings gear at the top.
  3. Scroll down to About and tap Delete Account.
  4. Read what will be deleted, enter your password if asked, and type DELETE to confirm.

Your account is closed at once and you are signed out.

Can’t open the app? Ask us here

Send us the email address of your Arabica account. We will write to that address to confirm it’s you, then delete the account within 30 days.

You can also email arabicaapp10@gmail.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request”.

What happens and when

  • ImmediatelyThe account is closed. You can no longer sign in, and your profile is hidden from leaderboards.
  • Within 30 daysYour profile, learning progress, XP, streak history and voice data are permanently deleted from our servers.
  • Up to 2 yearsSome data is kept for the legal reasons below, then permanently purged.

What is deleted

  • Account credentials (email, hashed password)
  • Profile information (name, gender, age group, avatar)
  • Learning progress, XP points and streak history
  • Completed lessons and exercise answers
  • Voice data from pronunciation practice
  • Push notification tokens (Firebase FCM)
  • Leaderboard entries and rankings
  • In-app preferences and settings
  • Support conversations (where no legal hold applies)

What may be kept, and why

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it first in the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) to avoid further charges.
